Membership appointments by appointment for the 2024-2025 season. Sign up for a day and time by using the Parent Request Form.
Who’s eligible for a membership appointment (previously called an audition)?
- Boys who will be in grade 3 and up in the 2024-2025 school year
- Boys who love to sing
- Boys who want to sing with other boys who love to sing
Our membership appointments are meant to be a positive, friendly, and fun experience for your singer.
What happens at an appointment:
- Sing scales to assess vocal range.
- Demonstrate ear training with call-and-response exercises on various vowels.
- Perform a song of your choice that highlights your vocal talent. "Happy Birthday or "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" are acceptable songs.
The appointment is completely free and there is no obligation to enroll upon acceptance to one of our ensembles. Consider this an opportunity for mutual discovery.

You can also email kirsten@lincolnboyschoir.org or call/text 402-499-4446 to leave a voicemail requesting an audition time. Please be detailed in your message regarding your name, the boy's name, school, grade, etc.
Only prospective members are required to have a vocal assessment; current choir members do not need to meet with us.
Tuition & Rehearsals
Rehearsals: September 2024 - April 2025 - Thursday nights at Saint Paul United Methodist Church in downtown Lincoln
Tuition: $400 (payment plans and some financial aid available)
Uniform costs: $120 (approximate new cost) Some gently used uniforms are available at no cost from our used closet.
